Best gyros I have had in the entire Seattle area. So fresh and delicious! Come here if it's your birthday because you'll get free baklava. At least my 11 year old daughter did after she picked this as her birthday lunch.

I was in the Federal Way area and looking for a quick bite to eat so of course I hopped on yelp and had seen this gyro joint in the mall food court (I usually steer clear of mall food) with high ratings and it sounded good at the time so....why not. When you think of food court food, you think basic. And that's what it was like here. It wasn't bad at all! But it also was not anything special. The meat seemed flat..almost fake? And there was too much sauce which was overpowering. The service was rather awkward. The guy that helped us at the front didn't greet us at all, in fact he only said a couple words regarding our order. But later a different guy with much enthusiasm came out and greeted many people so I guess it's hit and miss service. On the plus side it was 8 dollars for a gyro, fresh fries and a drink! I didn't regret eating here but I don't think I'll be coming back here for a gyro.

Recently I discovered the Falafel so I started coming here. The first three times was ok. Not particularly friendly nor rude. The pita didn't have as many falafel balls as elsewhere, it was a bit expensive but whatever. Well yesterday I drive there to get a falafel sandwich, this one guy says they don't have any and it'll be an hour. So ok I wait an hour, then its another guy manning the booth, Mr. Bluetooth. So I tell him I want a falafel and he looks at me like I asked for caviar or something. I believe he said something like "we don't sell falafel". I suppose he meant they were all out or something unless I'm imagining "FALAFEL" in their menu or the first three times I got a falafel. So I'm kinda speechless at this point and he just stares at me with this intense apathy. How about simple "I'm really sorry, we're all out of ingridients, please come tomorrow and you can have your falafel". NO! This guy... Bald, always wearing a bluetooth. I don't want to lie or embellish, he's not rude but this complete New York City type attitude. Like he doesn't have time to be simply nice to his customers. He's completley apathetic. I swear I don't ask for much. You don't have to be overly cheery but how about just act professional. Act like you're happy for my business and money. This guy gives off vibes like he doesn't care. I want a falafel BLANK STARE "We don't sell falafel". Or even how about "We don't have falafels today, would you like a gyro instead?". That would've been great, I might even had tried a gyro. But no. My parents were in food service and I was around that as a kid. My parents didn't speak great english but they at least TRIED to be nice to their customers because their livelyhood depended on it. It truely disgusts me all the people in this city who completley take their customers for granted. You don't have to be overly peppy, you don't have to treat me like a king I just want a minimum of respect. Gyro House and Mr. Bluetooth don't have that. Maybe that's not important to you but that's very important to me. Oh and as for the food? The falafel was below average but the salad was a nice bonus but around $8 for a small falafel and a salad? You do the math.

This is my favorite Greek place. I've been going here since I was a teenager. Soft fresh pitas and flavorful meat. Fresh ingredients. To choose from. Plus the staff are great and good for a laugh. This is truly the gem of the Commons mall.

Dh and I have been coming to gyro house since the 90's. The price has not changed much either since then. We almost always order the special: fries, gyro, and drink. I enjoy eating the lamb gyros with extra feta and tazitki sauce. I usually can't stand soggy fries, but this place makes them good. Adding ketchup to them is a must. Usually there are monthly coupons in the federal way val paks or mailed circulars. Be on the lookout and use them!

Based on what I have come to expect of mall food, this is excellent. Very fresh and reasonably priced too.

Been coming here for years. Food is always fresh and customer service is amazing. Plus it's halal!!!

I love coming to the Gyro House for food when I get hungry at the mall. Not only is the food really good and fresh, but it is pretty darn healthy. Service is great, you really can't go wrong here.

I was impressed! I always hate "mall food", but I was so impressed with the look of the fresh salad I decided to order from here. I am impressed. So fresh with tons of flavor. The guy making my dinner was amazing too, so friendly. I will go out of my way to eat here now. Keep up the good work! See ya soon

Absolutely amazing Gyro! Meat off the spit just like it should be! Completely authentic, restaurant quality, hiding inside the mall! I will definitely be back!

Some of the best in the mall. Very friendly service. Food has always been perfect every time. Been eating there off and on for 2 years.

Great food but what's even better is the customer service. Not sure what the guys name is but he's here every time I come in and he is friendly and entertaining while your food is being made. Truly connects with every customer.

Awesome food! Haven't been to this spot yet but figured we would try it out. The Falafel Wrap and the Traditional Gyro were very good. The Falafels were fresh made and some of the best ive had. I was hesitant on eating here being located in a mall good court but it is worth it and won't hesitate to come back!

I come here often and the guys know me now. I get my usual Gyro with a greek salad or once in a while I get the fries with the Feta on top. Yes the fries might not be crisp which I read in a previous post, but true french fries made from fresh cut potato no added preservatives usually aren't very crispy. I thought I'd already done a review after all this time. Shame on me :). I travel a lot and go to many places in the country so when I have the opportunity to try Gyros I do. Gyro House is still ranks best on the west coast far as my opinion goes. Some reviewers and foodies should realize that some places charge for feta and some don't so always ask no matter where you go so you're not shocked when it's said to be $1 extra. Not all feta are equal. Good feta costs more and I assure you Gyro House has good fresh feta. Price is reasonable for what you get at a mall and the size is pretty good. Since I've been going here, there has been a small reduction as to how much they put into the gyro, but I'm still okay with it. They use the meat from the rotisserie spit so it's almost always fresh. You can ask them to crisp the meat up a little for you either two ways....on the grill or from the spit. I choose the rotating spit. It's worth the wait. The meat used here is the lamb/beef mix. There are few places that use all 100% lamb but I know of a place in Tacoma that does. I went there once but it just didn't have the flavor I was hoping for so I came back here...my Gyro home. Thanks guys!

I was looking for a unique restaurant to grab some quick lunch when we were on the road so I yelped this place... Good gyro but I got soggy limp frys... Plus the place is in the mall so if you're driving you can't see it from the street it's next to the movie theater and the Starbucks The service was poor some Middle Eastern guy on his phone the whole time but ironically enough when I called to get info I got no answer Good for some mall food but This place is rated too high for any foodies....

FALSE ADVERTISMENT. you guys shouldnt advertise if u arnt going to be fair. The coupon says one coupon per customer. The cooking guy with the fake knock off burberry wanna be shirt... ONE COUPIN PER CUSTOMER. UNDERSTAND? also being unfair to those who bring coupon... giving less salad meat and fries...wow saw it with my eyes doing the same with others. Btw... LETS GO EASY ON THE SALT. TOO MUCH SALT IN THE MEAT AND THE 5PIECES OF FRIES U INCLUDED IN MY MEAL.

What a sad way to end 2014. There are very few restaurants that I'm a regular at (drives DH crazy) - and unfortunately my Top 2 are now off my list.... I've spent thousands of dollars here over the years but I'll never spend another. The nephew who took over for the uncle several years ago has some sort of hatred for coupons - so DONT DO COUPONS IF YOU WONT TAKE THEM!!! So we decided that Greek sounded like a great option for dinner the other night - so after doing some after xmas shopping/exchanges at the Mall we went to pick up dinner. There were 3 people in line and we waited over 15 minutes just to order (jerk was to busy talking on his phone while trying to make the to-go orders) Finally it was our turn - jerk rang us up and when I gave him the Entertainment book coupon he said "I wont take that" I looked at him and said "What?" he then grabbed the coupon turned it over and pointed to the bottom and said "SEE - it's not valid on holidays - so if I say "Happy Holidays" to you then it's not any good" You may think he was joking - he was not....I've run into problems with him before on coupons, Groupons, mall gift cards, etc.......sad to say I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!

  • Bruce F.

Ok. I ordered my Gyros plate and then a drink. I questioned why the price was not the special since what I ordered was the same and they said - I had to tell them I wanted the special when I ordered - OK what is the difference? The Gyros was OK and they are always friendly.A decent Gyro and I will be back.

  • Alex H.

Their chicken gyros are on point. 100% absolutely delicious. One of the best. The lamb, not so much. I prefer the rice over the fries as a side. The fries are too soft and greasy. I wouldn't call it soggy. But I definitely prefer crispy and soft on the inside. Not much to say about the service. The guy that is usually there is pretty friendly.

    (4)
  • E G.

Definitely like the other location better. I got the chicken gyro sandwich with fries. The gyro itself was okay not as good as the ones at the Renton location. The fries were so limp and soggy I couldn't eat them..

This is the ONLY place I will eat at the commons mall. These brothers are the best and their food is reasonably priced for the quality of ingredients used. I would recommend this place to everyone, and bring my out of town family here anytime we are at the mall! These guys work hard and they are here every time i have come here, which is around 20 times. Keep up the great work my friends this is one of the only restaurants I frequent.

Are u kidding me? I was treated like I was stupid...will NEVER go back...I asked for an apology and didn't get it...no customer service!!!! We got the special which was a gyro fries and a drink but instead of a fountain drink we got a bottle drink and we were charged almost $4 more... When I mentioned it he pointed to the sign and pretty much told me I couldn't read "what does the sign say" he said in a rude manner. Then he asked me if I was from Portland because "you know there's tax"...I was totally offended being talked to like that. HE WAS SO RUDE!!!! Have never been treated like that at an establishment...UNbelievable!!! He must be miserable working there to treat customers like that. I will be telling everyone I know not to give this business a visit we could have been repeated customers but since I was treated rudely I will never go back to this place ever and either should you!! The food was disgusting too!!

I always try to write reviews for places that had great food, even though I forget a lot. I realized if I worked at a restaurant (which I did as a sushi manager), and if I had a complaint from a customer, I'd wanna solve it with the person before they wrote something bad online...So here's another 5 star review! For mall quality food, this place really took me by surprise. I got on Yelp to write a review, and didn't even know this place already had rad reviews! I liked the gyro made by Zaid (quieter guy) than the other guy (talked a lot and couldn't hear him well). But went here two days in a row cause was shocked how good it was! Generous portions if you get rice and salad. Fries were pretty good too. Worth the drive from Lakewood. Yay to a good Greek place down here. Was about time I found a place, just surprised again it was in the mall. Right by this place is the Chinese place that sells bbq pork buns and moon cakes! Usually went to Chinatown for these goodies! Praise the Lord!

Hands down, best gyros I've ever had!!! The people are very friendly and everything tastes authentic and healthy! Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone

Took the advice from Yelpers and decided to check it out here. I was a little skeptical since it was in the mall but thought it would still be worth a shot to check out. I went with the Gyros, Spanakopita & Dolmathes combo and was really happy with it. The gyro was huge and the spanakopita was excellent. Now the dolmathes was different and I think I need to acquire a taste for these, but I did eat them and they were cooked really well. The guy who served us was friendly and fast and made sure we were happy with our order. I would definitely come back here since its pretty easy to get to, they have a nice selection and is very tasty. I also would like to try their other menu options because this place serves some good quality food here.

Great gyro and great price. For 7.49 I got a Gyro, Fries, and a medium soda. I feel absolutely stuffed! The meat was delicious, tender, and moist. Bread was good. This place deserves all the praise it gets. Soda tasted full flavored and not watered down like some other small places. The only downside was the fries were not crispy kind of soggy. I don't care because the gyro made up for it. Sauce was great and the cheese tasted like good quality. Still gonna give 5 stars even with the fries, but I'll try the rice or salad next time.

  • Shay D.

Order 2 gyro w/fries. The food area was a little hard to find, more like a hallway/breezeway eat area but any WHOO! Was their for the food.It was Good! Only thing would have made this Great would be more gyro meat on sandwich but the fries make it worth it! Thanks will be back!

  • Stella C.

I usually prefer the falafel, and I am not fond of lamb gyros. I decided I would try it just once. The lamb was so flavorful and moist it was the best lamb gyro I have ever had. Perfect for a nice lunch. Definitely recommended. : )

Quick and friendly service. Guys behind the counter were funny and friendly. My gyro was good overall, had onions when I requested none. But definitely will come back for seconds!!

  • Yousif A.

Tall guy needs to hang up the phone, limit the socializing and just focus on delivering an excellent product for his customers. The gyro meat was okay, but I was surprised that he pulled it from a tub, instead of cutting it fresh from the skewer -this was around 3PM, and the place was mostly empty, so I don't think staging the meat was a time saving measure for rush hour. If you 're going to do that, at least heat it up before you serve it. In the end the gyro meat wasn't warm, and I watched him cook a second order of fries only to realize he had already made mine. The guy has a lot of distractions -phone, visitors, people socializing, etc.

    (3)
  • Robert M.

Skeptical about all these over the top reviews for this place. Has not been my experience. They do not understand the using gloves concept. They will not get off the phone when taking your order. It took me twenty minutes to get my food with only one person in front of me. If you have ever worked in a restaurant you can clearly see over prepping and short cuts all over the place. Does not resonate confidence in there product. They are fake nice, not genuine. Watch them ditch your conversation a for a pretty girl just walking by in an instant. The food is decent. No way deserving this five star. Bunch of b.s.

Say what? Good food in a mall food court?! Yes, Gyros House is pretty legit, considering it's in the Commons Mall. I've had the Gyros Sandwich, and the meat is tasty, the pita is soft, and the toppings are generous. You get a side of either salad, rice, or fries, and the price is reasonable for what you're getting. We're not talking food comparable to what you'd actually find in Greece, but for Federal Way? Not too shabby.

    (4)
  • Miles K.

Great service and a really great gyro! Easy to find google maps will say its across the street but its in they mall near starbucks.

    (5)
  • Angela P.

Food is definitely better at the Renton location. Service is poor; the guy spent half the time in the phone and the other half making faces and weird sounds at babies passing by. Will not be returning to this location.

  • Erin H.

Very typical Gyro's. I had chicken, my boyfriend had lamb/beef. The fries were OK, but I LOVED the side salad. Very tasty, not the BEST I've ever had, but very yummy. (My favorite Gyro place is at the super mall food court!) They weren't very busy when we stopped by but with one worker, also talking on his earpiece, we waited longer than I think we should have. Lots of drink available, juices, teas, water, soda. Decent prices. On the side of the glass cover, near the cash register there were some calorie listings. I am a little suspect of their validity, but if they're correct, I'd be pretty happy with it! They're menu also says they can cater for large parties! Yum!

I really love the Gyros here. Service got a little worse after the guy working there changed, but who cares. The end result after filling my stomach is amazing. Been here well over 5 times now.

I'm Greek and had lunch there today with my friend. We had gyros with greek salad. She had chicken and I had lamb. They were huge and the salads were really good. The tzitziki and salad dressing was very good too. The only complaint was the baklava we split a piece it was not fresh or very good.

I LOVE this place when I first was having pregnancy cravings We would come here nearly everyday, The people there are very sweet and very nice to their loyal customers. They always offer nice convo and are very real. The food is fantastic I have driven an hour and paid three time as much for gyros that don't even come slightly close. The sauce is great too and the salads which is something so simple yet divine and if The guy likes You he gives You extra olives :) The meat is great and is exactly as it should be. All around everything I would want in a gyro shop let alone a fast food style one.

Love their gyro wraps. Really juicy, fresh and nicely put together. I would go inside the mall just for gyros. Definitely recommend this place if you love gyros.

  • Justin E.

The lady and I tried this place on Friday. It was a bit out of our way, but the excellent yelp reviews justified the adventure. We were not disappointed. We ordered a chicken gyro, felafel, and meat (chicken) and hummus. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned--it had lovely hints of cinnamon and cardamon. The pita was fresh, brushed with a mixture of herbs and olive then kissed by the grill. If we had one critique it was the gyro was covered in far too much sauce. Don't get me wrong, I love tzatziki sauce as much as the next guy and theirs is excellent. However, the garlicky flavor overpowered the dish and muddled all of the flavors. Next time, I will ask for it on the side. I agree with the fellow reviewers, this is a must try.

This place is amazing.... Even though it's inside the commons mall it's totally worth it to park and go inside. Small little place but the food is totally worth it. Everything is clean and no cross contamination an the owner he is so friendly and has great people skills. I really enjoyed my service and quality of food. I will be back!

Love this place! Typically when we go out to the matinee movies we stop by Gyro House. By Far the best place I've been able to find in South Sound. They have the best Gyros! $7.49 for Gyro combo includes Gyro, Fries or Salad and Drink! I've introduced my teen daughters, my coworkers and anyone I happen to be with or around. They all LOVE it! Skeptical because it was a mall restaurant? No worries! Everything is made fresh! French fries are cut, not frozen. Their Tzatziki sauce is rich and creamy. Greek Salad is served with Romaine lettuce, fresh shredded Feta cheese, and Kalamata olives. 2 thumbs up... Price, freshness, taste, service (the guy remembers you!). You can't go wrong! Check it out! Oh and the Baklava is YUMMY too!

Went here for the first time today during my lunch, and loved it. I have a thing for gyros in general, but this place was very good. Fast service, but still great food. I had the beef gyro sandwich and a small Greek salad, which was made with the correct olives and everything :)

  • Nathan P.

I have came to love the food here. Eveything I go they are nice and friendly. I have tried about everything on the menu by now and all of it is good. The people here seem to care alot about the customers and believing in the food they make. Thank you so much for the hard work and great service

  • Catfriend N.

If you're looking for a falafel sandwich in Federal Way, this is the place. I've been eating here as long as they've been around, and I'll continue to do so. They make their own falafels, and they are well-spiced and tasty. They hand cut their own fries; they don't use frozen. If you want to substitute an item on a platter or sandwich, no problem. Sometimes they do get busy, but I always know I'll get a good meal when I come here.

  • Cindy D.

This is possibly my favorite place to eat from! I drive there to pick up dinner and bring it home. Their gyros are great, the rice is great, the dohlmathes are great, everything is great! Including the service. So positive and pleasant. The meat is all kosher and halal, if that is important to you. What's more important is that it tastes great, it's easy to get to - right inside the door of the mall - healthy and delicious. Don't be put off because it's in a mall. Get it to take home! They do catering trays too.

  • Reviewer D.

I have been here twice and both times this hole in the wall in the Commons exceeded my expectations. Get the gyro! Get the bakalava! Such great Greek food in a very unexpected location. Wish they would have another Groupon.

Oh My GOODNESS!!! I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place yet!! DOH!! Well if your crazy for some super nomnomnom gyros goodness, then you've hit the JACKPOT!! This place is absolutely brilliant! Just cause it's part of the food court area of the mall, don't let that deter you from trying this place! SERIOUSLY!! I can't rave enough about this place! I've been here so many time now, and when ever I'm crack-craving some gyros; this is my hands down go to place to get em! The meat for the gyro is just melt in your mouth goodness, tender, flavorful.. great I'm drooling thinking about it now... and that tzitziki sauce, so creamy!! That sauce is so delicious, I've yet to find a place that makes it as flavorful as Gyros House! I'd put that S*IT on everything, sorry I digress, but it is that good! Service here is pretty good too, it can get busy around lunch time or during the weekends, but it is well worth the wait! Must have's: The Gyro, hands down!!! Gyros salad and I love the rice as well!! I've been wanting to try other things on the menu, as it all looks mouthwatering, but my mouth starts salivating as soon as I see the gyro! lol If your craving some mind blowing, delicious gyro, X marks the spot here! :)

Best Greek restaurant ever! :) The Food: 10/10! This is obviously an authentic Greek restaurant! We always get the lamb gyro and it is perfect. Juicy meat. Fresh ingredients. Freshly grated cheese. Hand-toasted pita. Just plain yum! The owner takes a lot of pride in the food he makes and i shows. Customer service: 10/10 The owner is extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. We have never waited to be greeted, and service has never been slow. You can tell this is an independently run restaurant. I would say the only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the ambiance. The commons isn't necessarily the nicest mall ever and the particular corridor where the Gyro House is located is kind of dark and unpleasant looking. The food court nearby isn't really a great place to sit down to eat wither. However, this isn't really something I can fault the restaurant for. We usually end up taking our food to go, anyways.

I have been in love with felafels for 35 years and eaten them all over the world. The felafel at Gyros House is the BEST I've ever had! Made from scratch, the spices and flavours have me grinning from first smell to last bite. And the fries are pretty good, too!

    (5)
  • Sarah M.

Busy worker behind the counter. Clearly a "place to be" in the Commons. Ordered a gyro with the fries. Realized that feta on my gyro would cost extra. Boo. The guy working the counter really is really putting a lot of effort into each meal though. Very nice surprise to find someone that seems so dedicated to giving you good food-in a strip mall. Once I get my food...I find that....the meat was just really too salty for me. The fries fare the same in level of saltiness. Sad Sarah. While the portion of meat is very generous, there wasn't a give to the tzatziki sauce or, really to the rest of the plate. I did bring it home and chop up some more greens to help. I will continue my hunt for good gyros in south king county!

  • Mandy C.

OMG. THIS PLACE. It's been around for FOREVER. And their servings are GINORMOUS!!! I usually order the Gyro, Spanakopeta & Dolmathes Plate with Tzaziki sauce on the side. $7 BUCKS BRO!!! The gyro was well over half the size of my plastic plate. But the dude who made my plate managed to squeeze in all the other good stuff too. I swear I thought my gyro would fall off, it was THAT huge! High five Gyro Jenga Stacking Masters. Go you Go. PS. It's located in a crummy section in the Common's Mall. Kind of a let down, but if you're not looking for fancy cocktail ambience, then coming here is a must.

    Delicious gyro. Fries were okay.

  • Janet L.

ASDFGHJKL:!!!! That's like REALLY REALLY good. Have you seen those posters of the Gyro that's folded in half? That's what this muddapukin deliciousness comes in.... Once, I went to a gyro place in the FiDi that had the Gyro poster so it lured me in....fawkrs gave me the gyro in a tortilla wrap and i HATE tortillas. So when I came here, I got all excited cuz I saw other eaters eat it in the actual wrap like they show in the posters. Doesn't disappoint! Lots of flavorful meat, lots of lettuce in their tangy dressing, and globs of yogurt sauce! MORE PLEASE!!!!!!!!

The Federal Way Commons (Federal Way's mall) isn't big and doesn't have a lot to offer, especially when it comes to food. The food court is small, and restaurants there turn over quicker than someone with RLS in a hot bed. Even the McDonald's closed. One consistent, though, has been the Gyros House, a Greek stall offering typical Mediterranean fare. I'd eaten there once years ago, but went back the other day. I had a gyro sandwich with the works and a Greek salad. Everything was wonderful. The veggies were fresh, the feta cheese was salty, tangy, and moist, and the meat was hot and juicy. The salad had a smidge more dressing than I like, but the dressing itself was wonderful. The fellow working when I went was very friendly and conversational as he made y meal, and he put everything together quickly but carefully. I'll definitely be going back the next time I'm craving solid, authentic Greek food. A small warning: the kalamata olives in the salad had pits, so, you know, be aware of that.

Great gyros! Service is sub-par and inconsistent -- sometimes they pay too much attention to you and other times they're talking on their phones (usually Bluetooth, ha). But at the end of the day, you come for the food, and it's good.

The BEST gyros I've ever had period. Good portion size. Everything is always fresh, and best of all is the real hand cut potatoe fries! The owner seems like a pretty nice guy too, he's always very friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. Because my job takes me all over the state, I'm able to try out the local greek places but I always seem to make my way back here. The greek salad is pretty yummy too!

I've been meaning to finish this review for awhile. When I was in Federal way visiting, I ordered some Gyros from here and was generally impressed. Good portion and taste was great. Staff was friendly and service was fast. price was good. in the mall, so many places to sit.

We visited again tonight, and give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to the owner who ran out into the parking lot with my purse to find us when I left it under my chair in the food court. He left the restaurant and chased us down as we drove off! THANK YOU!

It is crazy that they are in the mall! They are THE BEST gyros I have EVER had! And I've had a LOT. SO GOOD! Highly recommend!!!!!

This was one of the best gyros I've ever had. They're huge and the fries are great and seemed to be fresh cut. I'd never expect food this good from a place in a mall but everything was delicious. It's a shame that I live 3000 miles away because I'd be here fairly often to get my gyro fix.

If you use a Groupon, there will be an onset of mistreatment. Before I go further in to this abyss of horrible customer service, I will do an annotated review of the food. The food is delicious. The fries were decent, but they are not crispy. They are very limp, but that means they are homemade. The chicken gyro and lamb gyro are very delicious and they come with lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. Feta cheese is $.59 more for each gyro. Two stars for food because the rest were eliminated due to my experiences below. Now for the treatment I got with using two Groupons worth $35. The first time I ordered four Gyros and a double fish and chip meal. Each Gyro is $7 so I ordered four which amounts to $28. The 2-piece fish and chip meal is about $7 so that means my grand total should be $35 aright? Wrong, they charged me $55. Washington State tax is just under 10% so that means my tax should be no more than $4 for the entire order, which means at most, I should pay $40 or $41. I knew something was wrong, but the good side of me told me to believe in their math. Sadly, I was wrong when I glanced back and saw the prices and did some rapid mental math. I finally went this past afternoon to use the last $35 Groupon. I decided to fight them on their "level" which is pretty far down there. They recognized me from last time and asked if I had a groupon to use. I told them no and showed them my credit card. They then took my order. I played it easy and ordered two chicken gyros and two lamb gyros. They are still $7 so the total came to $30.xx. The math checked out so I asked to buy two vitamin waters. The total then came to $34.67. The tall employee was watching me the whole time so I knew he wanted to be sure that I paid with cash or credit. The other employee is pretty laid back, but he has a dumbfounded look on his face all the time. They both were looking at me so I put my wallet away and took out THE ALMIGHTY $35 GROUPON. The tall guy flipped out and was raising his voice, but not yelling. He was saying that he had asked me before they took my order if I am using a Groupon. I said, "Does it matter?" Why should a merchant know if I am using a Groupon immediately after I approach the counter? The Groupon said to present when paying, so I did. I follow Groupon, not the merchant's wishes. He went on about how he has to change it on the register and became frustrated. Well, that is how Groupon works. You subtract the voucher amount from the grand total. In this case, I was 33 cents within the maximum amount. I did them a favor by not having them re-calculate the bill. Sadly, I was not thanked for this added convenience. The tall guy started mumbling something in his native language. No doubt it was about me, but I did not care. I got my food, I used my voucher, and they did not cheat me out of money. The gyros tasted much better due to my well-executed plan and defeating them at their own game. So if you have a voucher to use here, be very careful when you present it. It looks like another yelper had a negative experience as well when trying to redeem it. Just because we pay for a coupon does not make us marginalized customers. It is not our fault your business has to advertise on Groupon month after month because you cannot establish a loyal customer base. My fellow Groupon users, be careful, be confidant, and be merciful.

Best Greek food around. In a mall!! My go to combo includes gyros, dolmathes, and spanakopita. Delicious. The rice is also very good as is the chicken. I've been coming here for years and there's been probably a half dozen or so people that seem to have been running the place. I have experienced both great service and mediocre service. Hope you get lucky with the service if you go. Regardless, the food has always been great. Give it a try

So delicious - Gyros are my favorite food, and Gyros House does the best gyros in the whole world. Big portions of FRESH made food, tzatziki sauce I would swim in if were socially acceptable. They do catering too, one time when I was working in the mall our manager got gyros house catered and it was amazing. SO good - go here already, the absolute BEST thing about Seatac Mall and truly Federal Way's hidden gem :) Oh, and the guys that work there are super friendly and nice too!

Not too bad for a mall food court. It appears that the food is made fresh. Gyros are big and really good. I was disappointed in the fries which were soggy and greasy. Tzatziki sauce is not made correctly. Service is another matter...I've been here enough to see them treat some customers well and some not so well. The last time I was there I heard the guy working mumble things to himself in his native language!

WOW! I am REALLY impressed. I went at 8 pm because my husband and I had a hard time deciding what to eat for dinner. I was the last person he helped and then closed down. We decided on the Souvlaki plate with lamb. Feta, (which they shred) on everything. My husband and I where basically licking our to go boxes. You will not be disappointed. My husband had the baklava and said it was awesome. I couldn't eat it because I am allergic to walnuts :( But get it if you can! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Please go here if you want amazing Greek food!

If you're looking for a decent and non-expensive greek food. Go to the Common mall food court. Fast service and great quality food that leaves you craving for more. Recommendation: Gyros sandwich and greek side salad. It was defintely heaven in each bite! Will be returning for more!

This place, the movie theatre and target are the ONLY reason's to even go to the commons. I used to come here all the time for lunch time during work. Their food is so good and the portions are great I usually have half for lunch then half when I go home from work later that day. I will say though I gave the 4 stars because I can't go here alone any more. The guys that work there like to hit on me, which is fine but when I was on my lunch break from work I have ONE HOUR and these guys would like refuse to give me my food (after I paid for it btw) they would tell me that they would give me my food once they got my phone number =/ no thanks I came for the food thats all. Now I can only go with my boyfriend, as you can imagine they keep their mouths shut when he is there. Other than that though the Gyros are great!

The gyros are very good, the ingredients are fresh. The fries are fresh but soggy. The Spanakopeta was burnt and oily. The owner is always on his phone and can impatient with customers, however he works quick and makes a good gyro.

LOVE 'EM. I have had my fair share of gyros, but their meat is best. This is my must-have weekly fix. The guys there are nice and I no longer have to say what I like; they see me and make my gyro salad exactly how I like it. My 5 year old, as of today, also gets a salad and has given up his weekly mexican food fix because the gyro meat is that good. Keep it up! A++

Pretty good if you can't sit down. You have to watch the kids though they have a tendency to serve burnt food.

I miss great greek food since moving here and was apprehensive of a food court dining experience. WOW was I wrong! The man behind the counter was SUPER friendly, I'm a picky eater and he totally accommodated. The food was wonderful, I got the gyros combo and couldn't eat it all. The meat was super tender and flavorful, the tantziki was super cool and refreshing. I got a large portion of hummus garnished with cucumber and an olive. I requested marinated onions and tahina on the side. They had tahina, but no special onions so he grilled them up with spices and they were THE BOMB. Super great place!

Great Gryos! This spot is a gem and found in an unlikely spot. Fast, friendly and great food. The ingredients are fresh and the tzatziki sauce is amazing.

The gyro meat, pita and taziki are all very good, but the fact that you have to pay extra for a sprinkling of feta cheese is a joke. I have never eaten at a Greek restaurant where feta is not standards and not served in big crumbles. These guys grate theirs so you get about 1/4 of what most other places give you for free and not charge ¢59

I've been eating here since they first opened. I'm in there alot and have never thought to write a review for them because theyre in the mall. Lets face it...Its hard to take food court dining seriously. All i'll say is that these folks really try hard. We love them so much we actually had them cater our wedding. Seriously. Moussa, the gentleman who owns it put together an incredible menu just for us. Just incredible. What they serve in this place is a small but diverse menu. The absolute bes Gyro I've ever had. Anywhere. The spanakopita is light and flakey. The hummus with pita is traditional Lebonese in style. Light and delicious. These guys rock. Doesnt matter whos working. Each dish is prepared by hand when you order it and right in front of you. No mystery here. Very fresh ingredients. If youre near Seatac Mall its worth the trip.

This restaurant is the best in the whole food court area. Their Gyros and Greek salads are tasty and satisfying. If you feel like having more than just a Gyro try their combination dinners. Gyro meat / humus and pita FTW.

Ok, maybe we were just hungry from bad airline/ airport food, but WOW! Fresh ingredients, quick service. We went back for more (2 visits). We tried the Gyro (regular & chicken), salad, fries, spanakopita & bakalava. All good. Tsatsiki sauce very garlicy. Not for a 1st date. But why would you take a 1st date to a mall stall anywhay? Perhaps for some good Greek food!! Service with smiles & very effiecient. Big mall parking lot. Park by the Borders.

OMG this place has a great Gyro! Great service, super fresh food, and a very good value all wrapped up into one. Don't be turned off by its mall location the "Gyros House" is a true diamond in the ruff.

We went here based on the great Yelp reviews (the best rated restaurant in Federal Way). Couldn't believe it was one of the restaurants at the Food Court. The food and the service are great. The restaurant may be a part of the food court but the owner and staff pay attention to detail and are very friendly. The gyros were awesome as well. You get your moneys worth.

Don't let that it is in the food court at the Commons Mall dissuade you from eating here. This place has great gyros and fresh cut fries made to order. My family and I sometimes fore-go eating at a restaurant to eat here instead. Also, one of the best things about this place is there is usually a coupon that you can find in the ValPak or Entertainment Book.

Really yummy. Thank you for the hospitality! Gyros House...you've earned a life-long customer out of myself, my large family and every friend I can recommend. Great customer service.

I have tried gyros at many of places and this one is by far the best. I always get the chicken gyro (even though I hear the lamb is the best). The owner is also really cool. They also have pretty good fries. Rock! *Update: I haven't been to this place in awhile, and now that I moved far away I have been getting the Gyro House ich. Something I noticed about this Gyro place that distinguishes it from others is that they use chicken chunks instead of the pressed stuff. It probably makes the gyro harder to wrap and easier for everything to fall out, but it tastes so damn good. Zipzap Zubidy Bop!

This proves the value of Yelp.... "Nancy" suggested to me to visit the Gyros House in Federal Way and I'm very glad I did. Since my days of living in Italy, and a visit to Greece, I have been looking for something even remotely resembling a good Gyro. I found one in San Antonio about 3 months ago, but I needed one here in Washington; and with the help of Yelp (and Nancy) I have found one. Gyros House is in the Commons Mall in Federal Way. You've got to look for it a bit since it's tucked away around the corner from the food court, but don't give up too easy... We received great service from who I can only assume was the owner. It was a Saturday night and although they were busy nobody rushed me to order and there was no pressure to order just because THEY were ready for me to order. The three of us ordered the Gyro combination which was a lamb gyro, fries, and a drink for $6.99; already a great deal compared to other Greek restaurants in the area. The gyro was stuffed full of lettuce, tomatoes, sauce, and shredded fita cheese. The fries were skin-on fries that were soft and reminded me of the kind that you pay way too much money for at the Fair. Service was pretty quick and we were eating in 5 minutes... It was a great meal in a time that you don't get too many of those for a good price. Even better yet, there is a coupon for a "buy one, get one" meal in the Entertainment book, so for the three of us to eat plus get Baklava for dessert, it was still under $20. This turned out to be a gem. We usually only take the trip from Orting to Federal Way to go to Jasmine's, but now we're hooked on the Gyros House. Give it a shot, you will be happy that you did.
